Throughout November, World Vegan Month celebrates plant-based food and encourages others to try vegan dishes.

Vive le veg! Make the most of World Vegan Month

The numbers present a great opportunity for food outlets to win customers:

  • 600,000 vegans in Great Britain (according to the Vegan Society).
  • 91% struggle to find food-to-go options (according to the Vegan Society).
  • 44% of Brits either don’t eat meat or are cutting down (according to NatCen’s British Social Attitudes survey).

So make it easy for customers during National Vegan Month by offering plenty of fantastic, delicious menu options.

Base dishes around protein – try young jackfruit, tofu, tempeh, seitan, and mixtures made with nutrient-packed beans and pulses.

Look for the many vegan ready-made burgers, sausages, bakes and roasts now widely available, as well as vegan alternatives to milk and cheese.
