AAK Foodservice won two top awards at AAK's annual European Sales Conference in Sweden.
The highly coveted Innovation Award went to the Foodservice team for its Prep Oil Management Solution, which includes training, essential tools, an online shop and the groundbreaking Prep App.
The project promotes the importance of good oil management practices, together with the message that Prep high performance frying oil lasts longer than its rivals.
The Foodservice team also enjoyed a double helping of success by taking second place with the new Lion World Flavours Sauces.
World Flavours, which officially launches to the market on February 21 and 22 at the Casual Dining Show in London, is a range of sauces, dressings and mayonnaises designed to recreate American, Mexican, Middle Eastern and Pan Asian cuisine.
Judges were impressed by the team’s co-development work with distributor Bidfood, and with the activation and marketing of the new range, which has already been featured in many catering magazine articles.
Rachel Neale, senior marketing manager for AAK Foodservice, said: “This was a real team effort and I’m very proud that everyone’s hard work, dedication and creativity has paid off.
“It was a fabulous night for Foodservice and for the Marketing team and so exciting to see recognition for the brilliantly innovative work being carried out by AAK UK.”
