White Sauce
Ingredients
- 1LT Milk
- 100g Whirl
- 100g Flour
Method
- Melt the Whirl in a thick bottom pan
- Add the flour & mix in
- Cook for a few minutes over a gentle heat without colouring
- Gradually add pre-warmed milk & slowly add the milk
- Remove from the heat & strain
- Add a little layer of oil on the top to stop a skin forming
